The WebChat client for Java™ supports a subset of the command-line syntax
used popular chat applications such as CheetaChat, Yahoo! Chat and mIRC as well as
supporting additional commands of its own. Typing any of the following words at the start
of a line of spoken text will perform the requested
action.
/think <thought>
or /t <thought> |
Expresses a thought, in the form
". o O (<thought>)".
eg /think WebChat is best would
display as
. o O (WebChat is best) |
/dream <dream>
or /d <dream> |
Shows that you are dreaming, in the form
". z Z (<dream>)".
eg /dream White Christmas would
display as
. z Z (White Christmas) |
/sound <sound>
or /s <sound> |
Plays a sound - the sounds available depend on the implementation.
eg /sound alarm would
play an "alarm" sound |
| /goto <user> |
Takes you to the same room as the specified user, providing the room is
not a private room.
eg /goto joe would take you
to the same room as 'joe'. |
/emote <emotion>
or
/me <emotion>
or
: <emotion> |
Expresses a custom emotion - the emotion appears as different coloured
text. |
