Iosphere 2 Beta 1 Released

The latest development cycle of Iosphere 2, the flagship web manager, has now reached Beta 1. This is a much more stable and user-friendly version of Iosphere which will hopefully prove popular.

Iosphere was originally designed for internal use only, so the last release of it was rough around the edges. Thankfully it is now being made publicly available. Look out for the new download here on the site.

This will hopefully mark the beginning of a new era for Iosphere 2 - since it's conception two years ago it has suffered due to the lack of a proper home, travelling from website to website. Now, with a proper infrastructure in place, it is hoped that Iosphere 2 will take off.

The Beta 1 copy has already been sent to a small group for testing. If they have no problems with it I'll post it for download here. The editor has been reorganised, so there might still be some rough edges.

What's Changed?

Project Manager, Template Manager and Resource Manager have been placed onto a tab-sheet to save screen space.

Editor has been revamped - edit buttons now appear in the main toolbar (or can float) rather than being inside each window.

Improved Stability - some memory leaks (and other associated problems) have been fixed.

NEW! Extended file support - Iosphere will now let you edit CSS files (.css) in-place and it supports PHP.
