Flexible Tool Support

.Edit can execute GUI and command line applications, providing useful shortcuts to commonly use utilities. The built-in Tool Wizard will automatically find the most common web-related applications and create menu options for them.

The Tool Wizard can automatically create links to the following products:

javac, the Java compiler
ActiveState Perl
Internet Explorer
Mozilla
Dave Raggett's HTML Tidy

These products need to be installed independently. If you install them after installing .Edit, you can re-run the Tool Wizard at any time by selecting it from the Tools menu.
